The platform is currently being build out using a MERN stack. This means the site has a MongoDB database, ExpressJS backend, ReactJS frontend, all written using NodeJS.
The site will allow farmers to post any surplus they may have and are willing to sell, while at the same time, food banks can post their demand for produce. The platform will then match the two parties together, and will also match them with a distributor if they are needed to transport the goods.
